Joining the NOVEMBR list

You choose email, SMS, or both using separate unchecked choices. We retain only the contact channels you select. We also record the consent wording and version, when you made your choice, the signup page and any campaign name supplied in the link you used.

We use these records to manage requests for NOVEMBR artist updates and keep a record of your choices. At present, the form records your request; it does not send an automated email, text message or verification. Collected addresses and numbers are unconfirmed. Email and phone records are stored independently.

Website activity and security

We count accepted page loads by day and page path to understand site activity. These are aggregate counts, including repeat page loads, rather than a count of unique people. Page counts are not combined with your email address or phone number. We do not send contact information to advertising or messaging services through this website.

Hosting services process technical request information, including IP addresses and request times, to deliver and protect the site. The application uses short-lived coded request counters for rate limits rather than keeping raw IP addresses in its subscriber or page-count records. Technical hosting logs are separate from those records.

Essential cookies

An essential security cookie protects the signup form against forged requests. Its normal expiry is approximately one year and it may be refreshed or removed by your browser. The private owner area uses a separate login-session cookie that expires when the browser closes or after eight hours. These cookies are used for security, not to create advertising profiles. Blocking them can prevent the signup form or private login from working.

Fonts, media and other services

This site's fonts, photos, cover art, logos and live performance clips are served by this website. Opening a page does not load external font services or embedded music/social players. The Watch feature loads a YouTube privacy-enhanced player only after you select Watch video. Once loaded, YouTube receives information about your visit and handles it under its own privacy policies. If you follow a music, social, video or press link, the destination handles information under its own policies.

The contact form opens your own email app with the details you enter. It does not deliver a message on its own. Email you send to us is received through Gmail, which processes the message as part of providing email service. Website hosting is provided through Kamatera.

How long information is kept

We keep subscriber and consent records until a verified removal request or until NOVEMBR artist updates end. To change your choices or request removal, email novembrmusic@gmail.com and identify the email address or phone number concerned. We may need to verify the request before changing or deleting records.

Technical website logs use a seven-day retention policy. Routine backup copies use a fourteen-day retention policy, so information removed from active storage may remain in those copies until routine cleanup. Daily aggregate page counts may be kept for historical comparisons.

We will update this notice when the way this site handles information changes, including before connecting email or SMS delivery.
